How we handle your details
Plain language. Last updated 1 November 2026.
What we collect
When you request an estimate or join as a member we ask for your name, phone number, and optionally your email, city and roof type. Our website also records the page you were on, the date and time, and a hashed (one-way, non-reversible) version of your network address to stop automated abuse.
Why
To contact you about your roof: to arrange an estimate, answer your question, and — only if you tick the box — send a few seasonal reminders and member offers a year. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone outside ABC Roof Service.
Where it is kept
In a database hosted by Cloudflare, with access limited to ABC Roof Service and the person who maintains this website. Standard website analytics (Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager) are used to understand site traffic.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete your details at any time, or stop reminders, by calling (778) 686-3914 or emailing bendashao@gmail.com. We remove member records that have been inactive for three years.
Law
ABC Roof Service (ABCinBC Service Inc.) is based in Richmond, British Columbia, and follows BC's Personal Information Protection Act and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation.
